NAIROBI, Kenya (XOL Africa) — Accops Systems Private Limited, a Reliance Jio company specializing in secure digital workspace technology, has appointed Mart Networks Group as its authorized, non-exclusive distributor across East and West Africa as the companies seek to expand secure digital access solutions on the continent.
The partnership will enable Mart Networks to recruit and support regional resellers while providing local pre-sales assistance, technical support, training, proof-of-concept deployments and joint marketing initiatives, the companies said Monday.
The agreement expands Accops’ presence in African markets as businesses and government institutions face growing cybersecurity challenges associated with hybrid workforces, third-party access and unmanaged devices.
“Africa is an important strategic growth market for Accops, with organisations increasingly looking for secure, flexible and cost-effective alternatives to fragmented remote access and workspace technologies,” said Vijender Yadav, co-founder, managing director and CEO of Accops Systems.
“Mart Networks brings deep regional expertise, strong technical capabilities and an established partner ecosystem. Together, we will help organisations accelerate their digital transformation with a unified, secure digital workspace platform,” he said.
Accops’ platform combines several security and digital workspace technologies, including Zero Trust Network Access, application and desktop virtualization, identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, remote browser isolation and thin-client technologies.
The company said its platform can operate across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments, allowing organizations to provide secure access to applications and desktops without relying on multiple standalone products.
Mart Networks, founded in Nairobi in 1996, operates as a value-added technology distributor serving partners in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Ghana.
Its portfolio includes cybersecurity, enterprise networking, cloud services, data center infrastructure, unified communications and digital transformation technologies.
Tushir Malik, vice president for global alliances at Accops, said partnerships would be central to the company’s African expansion strategy.
“Our Africa strategy is built around partnerships,” Malik said. “We believe the next phase of digital transformation across the continent will require secure access to applications and data to become an integral part of the digital workplace—not an additional layer added later.”

“Mart Networks has the market understanding and partner relationships to make this vision relevant locally,” he said.
Tapan Gohel, senior channel sales leader for EMEA at Accops, said the partnership would combine Mart Networks’ distribution network with Accops’ security technology.
“Our collaboration with Mart Networks marks a significant milestone in Accops’ Africa growth strategy,” Gohel said. “By combining Mart Networks’ extensive channel reach with Accops’ secure digital workspace solutions, we are empowering partners and organisations across Africa to embrace a secure, compliant and productive digital future.”
Moiz Maloo, managing director of Mart Networks Group, said Accops would complement the company’s existing cybersecurity portfolio.
“Mart Networks has always focused on bringing world-class technology solutions closer to African businesses through our partner ecosystem,” Maloo said.
“Accops complements our existing cybersecurity portfolio by adding a comprehensive digital workspace platform that enables organisations to securely access applications, desktops and enterprise resources from anywhere,” he said.
The companies said the partnership would focus on helping African organizations build secure digital work environments while providing regional technical expertise and local support.
Accops, headquartered in Pune, India, said it serves more than 1,000 organizations globally. Its portfolio includes Zero Trust Network Access, application and desktop virtualization, identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, remote browser isolation and thin-client technologies.
The partnership comes as African organizations accelerate digital transformation and increasingly require secure access to enterprise applications and data across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
