Gabriel Ani
Publisher and Media Entrepreneur | XOL Africa
Gabriel Ani is a Nigerian-born publisher, media entrepreneur and communications professional based in Europe, with a strong interest in African affairs, business, governance, public policy and the people and institutions shaping the continent’s future.
He is the publisher of XOL Africa, a pan-African media platform focused on documenting Africa’s people, ideas, institutions and events through journalism, analysis and storytelling. His work reflects a commitment to expanding the visibility of African developments and connecting audiences with stories that matter across the continent.
With experience in digital media publishing and news production, Ani has built and managed media platforms covering African and international affairs, while developing editorial and content strategies designed to bring African stories to wider audiences.
His areas of interest include African business and investment, public policy, governance, diplomacy, technology, infrastructure, economic development and emerging opportunities across the continent. He is particularly interested in the intersection of business, policy and power and how these forces influence Africa’s future.
As a publisher, Ani is focused on building credible, independent and globally connected media platforms that provide African perspectives on issues shaping the continent. Through XOL Africa, he works to create a platform where informed journalism, business intelligence and meaningful conversations can contribute to a deeper understanding of Africa.
Bon Peters
Maritime and Investigative Journalist | Port Harcourt, Nigeria
Bon Peters is an active Nigerian maritime and investigative journalist based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with a strong focus on Nigeria’s maritime sector, ports, trade and regional economic developments.
His reporting covers the activities and operations of the Nigeria Customs Service across southern ports and Zone C, with particular attention to trade facilitation, anti-smuggling operations, revenue generation and policy implementation.
Peters primarily covers the maritime and logistics ecosystem in Port Harcourt and Onne, reporting on developments that affect businesses, traders, government agencies and other stakeholders across the region.
