SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 7, 2026 — Andersen Group has agreed to acquire businesses in Italy, the Netherlands and South Africa, extending its professional services network while adding valuation and investment banking capabilities.

The three transactions bring Andersen’s total completed or signed deals to 19 in 2026, representing about $190 million in annualised revenue, the company said.

The acquisitions include a multidisciplinary corporate advisory law firm in Italy, a corporate finance and valuation advisory firm in the Netherlands, and Merchantec, a South African investment banking firm.

The deals strengthen Andersen’s presence in Europe and establish new capabilities in two areas of its international business.

The Netherlands transaction will introduce valuation advisory as a new service line for Andersen in Europe and marks the group’s first dedicated valuation firm in the region. In South Africa, Merchantec will become Andersen’s first investment banking business in the country, providing a platform for expansion in corporate finance and related advisory services.

“These transactions demonstrate the continued execution of our acquisition strategy and our ability to expand both geographically and into complementary service lines,” said Mark L. Vorsatz, chairman and chief executive of Andersen Group.

“With 19 transactions representing approximately $190 million in annualized revenue, M&A is becoming an increasingly meaningful component of Andersen’s growth,” Vorsatz said.

The company said it is also strengthening its European management structure as it integrates the new businesses.

Andrea De Vecchi and Paolo Mondia, co-leaders of Andersen’s European operations, will oversee the integration and development of the group’s expanding European businesses. De Vecchi also leads Andersen in Italy.

“Andrea and Paolo bring the depth of experience and market knowledge we need as we increase the scale of our European operations,” Vorsatz said.

“Their leadership gives us a strong regional management structure to support continued acquisition activity and help our businesses grow together as part of Andersen,” he added.

The acquisitions come as professional services groups increasingly seek to broaden their geographic footprints and combine tax, legal, valuation, consulting and financial advisory capabilities under integrated platforms.

Andersen said acquisitions will remain an important part of its expansion strategy alongside organic growth. It is continuing to assess opportunities in tax, legal, consulting, corporate finance and other complementary professional services.

Of the 19 transactions signed in 2026, nine have been completed, while the remaining 10 are expected to close in October or during the first quarter of 2027, the company said.

Andersen operates through a global network spanning more than 180 countries and more than 1,000 locations, with over 3,000 partners and 50,000 professionals, according to the company.
